Madurai Kitchen and Bar

I had an amazing time dining at Madurai Kitchen. The service was impressively quick and everything was handled so professionally. The food was packed with flavor and truly satisfying. I was also pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes, which made the meal even more enjoyable.

Best Indian food I’ve had in or around Chicago! Very authentic and everything we tried was delicious! The staff was friendly and accommodating for our large group. Truly a gem!

This was my first time at Madurai Kitchen & Bar, and it was a great experience. The food was flavorful and felt truly authentic, especially the South Indian dishes. The ambiance is pleasant, the service is friendly, Service was slower than expected, Overall, it’s a decent place with Indian flavors

Tried their Parotta ,it was incredibly fresh and fluffy, paired perfectly with the flavorful mutton chukka. We wrapped up the meal with a refreshing mango lassi, which provided the perfect end to a satisfying dine-in experience. The service truly stood out – the staff was attentive, courteous, and ensured everything was served promptly. They frequently checked in without being intrusive, making us feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, a great experience both in terms of food and hospitality. Will visit again !

Went here a Monday for lunch on a cold winter day and it was the best. The vada in Sambar and the Mysore masala dosa were both delicious. Service was great and quick and quality of food was excellent. Will be going back here again for my dosa fix. Only thing is I wish there was more Sambar with the dosa. The quantity given isn't enough.

This is some of the best South Indian food we have had in a while! And so nice to have it in the suburbs of Illinois! The mango lassi was delicious with a nice cardamom flavor. The chicken kizhi parotta was very flavorful with soft pieces of chicken and lots of gravy. The Mysore masala dosa was crispy and flavorful. The sambar did not taste much like sambar and did not have traditional vegetable pieces but that is the only minor complaint we would have. Would highly recommend this place and looking forward to coming back!

Pretty good Indian food. We really enjoyed the cheese Naan and both the chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala. The service was great and very attentive. The margarita should be avoided at all costs. It was terrible. I will be definitely be coming again, but probably to pick up a to go order only.
